Getting Fit Quick
Let’s be real, somedays it seems like I barely have time to get my to-do list done for the day. But I usually try to get some form of workout in everyday. You can read more on my overall health and fitness plan here. For those days when I am in a pinch for time I like to knock out a quick, but intense, 30 minute workout. Just A Bit Of Cardio
I have to admit cardio is not very enjoyable for me, but that’s why I do it. I’m in the gym to get a good workout and challenge myself, not to be comfortable. It doesn’t hurt that it keeps you slim either 😉
Although I am not a huge fan of cardio it’s not too bad in this 30 minute workout because its short and sweet. Well, maybe not sweet but its short!
I usually hop on the treadmill for this exercise but you could do it outside as well.
• 0:00-3:00 – 3mph (a swift walk)
• 3:00-4:00 – 4mph
• 4:00-6:00 – 3mph
• 6:00-7:00 – 5mph
• 7:00-9:00 – 3mph
• 9:00-10:00 – 6mph
• 10:00-12:00 – 3mph
• 12:00-13:00 – 7mph
• 13:00-15:00 – 3mph
This is a pretty quick little cardio session but I end up working up a good sweat and feeling great after. Feel free to adjust the speeds and times at your own discretion, this is just an example of what I do.
Full Body Workout
I try to target all the major areas for these quick workouts, that way you get more bang for your buck so to speak. Heres an example of some full body exercises I would do.
• Jump Squats: 3 sets of 10-15
These are killer and will make you so sore, but that’s the point 😉

• Burpees: 3 sets of 10-15
As you all know burpees kind of suck, but they will help you burn calories quick and engage all parts of your body. So just get them done and move on!

• Mountain Climbers: 3 sets of 10-15
These don’t suck quite as bad as the others. Although they are more enjoyable then the two other exercises they still engage your core, legs, and arms. Perfect!

Overall this should take you only about 30 minutes. That’s a very small portion of your day and for the most part is usually achievable. After doing these exercises you will definitely burn some cals and work some muscles. Let me know how you like this workout and if this post was helpful!
